Culpeper County Public Schools offer 2 courses involving strength training with Coach Whisenant. Students can sign up to take Physical Conditioning & Advanced Physical Conditioning after completing PE 9 & PE 10 as prerequisites. Students should reach out to their counselors if interested in taking these courses.
Coach Whisenant joined the Eastern View Athletics and Physical Education team in the Fall of 2025. Before joining EV, he graduated from Salisbury University in Maryland in 2025 with his bachelor’s in Physical Education and obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (C.S.C.S.) certification shortly after. While at Salisbury, he played football as an offensive lineman for their varsity football team. Before beginning his football career with the Seagulls, Coach Whisenant spent the 2020-2021 year interning with the Strength & Performance Department for the University of Wyoming football team in Laramie, WY under the leadership of Eric Donoval, C.S.C.S..
