Mikki Easter (2019) - Professional Soccer Player

Following Mikki’s outstanding career at Eastern View, she went on to play at Marquette University, where she developed into on e of the Big East Conference’s top goalkeepers before finishing her NCAA career with a graduate season at Virginia Tech. While playing for Marquette, Easter made 44 career starts, recorded 10 shutouts, and earned Big East Goalkeeper of the Week honors twice and was a four-time selection to the Big East All-Academic Team.

Following the conclusion of her NCAA career, Easter signed her first professional contract in Austria, where she began her career with FC Pinzgau Saalfelden in 2025 before transferring to IA Akranes in Iceland in 2026.

Reese graduated from Eastern View High School in 2018, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and worked with students in the Little Cyclones Preschool program. During high school, she also trained as a dancer at MFA Studios and the Orange School of Performing Arts. She went on to attend Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, where she was a four-year member of the VCU Gold Rush Dance Team and served as team captain for two years. She is now a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars Cheerleaders, The ROAR, performing at games and representing the organization at community events and appearances.

Josh Gardiner (2011) - Minor League Baseball

A 2011 graduate, Josh Gardiner continued his baseball career at Radford University, where he developed into one of the premier middle infielders in the Big South Conference. During his four-year career with the Highlanders, Gardiner earned First-Team All-Big South honors as a senior batting .335 with 74 hits, 43 RBIs, and 24 stolen bases. His collegiate career ended with more than 270 hits, ranking among Radford’s all-time leaders, while establishing himself as one of the program’s most consistent offensive performers and defensive infielders. 

Following his career at Radford, he signed a minor league free agent contract with the New York Yankees. He spent the 2016 season with the Pulaski Yankees, the organizations Rookie Advanced affiliate, where he posted a .377 OBP in his professional debut.
